    BUILD A CHARGING STATION LIKE TESLA IS.

    TESLA WILL OWN ALL THE CHARGING ELECTRIC STATIONS, AND MAYBE OTHER CAR MAKERS WILL PAY TESLA TO CHARGE THEM THERE.

In that little footnote about China I'm very surprised they didn't mention NIO, who's promotional concept car to get the brand rolling is so far the only electric supercar, with a top speed of 350km in 15 seconds. Absolutely insane performance. They're about to start commercial production on a sedan which will be a direct competitor with Tesla once more people know of it. The other aspect they didn't mention is heavy trucks. An aspect Tesla hasn't got a working model for yet, and which will very likely end up dominated by Hyllion, who are already building hydrogen fuel cell trucks & hybrids. In this space Nikola is getting very hyped, but i believe Hyllion will win since they are already building hybrid heavy trucks. But with real EV competition by committed companies, not just companies looking to cash in, and with cars, utes (utility trucks), and heavy trucks, the immediate future of EVs is looking pretty exciting.. Add to that the advent of electric boats. There is an electric ferry being built for short-range commercial commuting use in Wellington, NZ.

  11. Tesla owns Solar City. Why not develop a solar recharging panel on every EV? A car could theoretically travel 3,000 miles non-stop. What about a solar panel on the trailer for the Tesla semi truck tractor unit?

  14. While Google and Apple are trying to create an Android version for auto industry. Tesla already becomes an Apple+. They design both hardware and sofware. They even manufacture most parts of their cars instead of outsourcing. Now they are leading and dominate the market of electric cars.

  16. Oh, the competition is coming… With the likes of Daimler ceasing ALL ICE development – and Volvo's ambitious 50% EV future by 2025, the writing is on the wall. And Elon couldn't be happier about it (what a guy.)

  18. Elon Musk was the "genius" in the auto industry when he entered.
    Even I was rooting for him… And being a Michigan resident… It felt "wrong" for some reason.
    But the stories told by many, that Tesla will pretty much render your Tesla useless, if you care to repair it yourself, or take it to anyone but Tesla. That's some dirty dealing, in my opinion. Any other auto manufacturer can't and likely wouldn't risk doing that… So to me, aside from Musk's connection to Amber Heard (which DESTROYED my opinion of him), just based on their lack of understanding of your average consumer (most car buyers look at mpg, initial price, how that car holds value, and COST TO REPAIR, among other things- most common issues, etc) Tesla is the wolf in sheep's clothing.
    Elon went from being, a man of the people… To just another millionaire/billionaire (wherever he's at these days) trying to get one over on you.
    Personally… I'll never ever ever buy a Tesla.
    (Not to mention… Using the name of a man, who WAS for the people… And to turn around and soil his name because of greed… Smh I REALLY don't like Elon Musk anymore)

  19. Electric cars are still novelty purchases. If held to the same standards for reliability, build quality, function and resale value as gas vehicles, the appeal will diminish. Other refinements are needed to have good long term results.

  24. Tesla truck looks too sci fi for USA truck crowd like me, they may have luck in the rest of the world?

    You have to understand the USA truck crowd they love their trucks that means a certain look out doors, work look etc.…you can tell Elon does not have a truck or drove a truck for any period of time.

    The Tesla cars looks good why they did a hard-left turn on the truck is baffling. Trucks is a huge market in the USA Tesla needs to relies they made a mistake on the look and build a good truck like they do with cars!

  34. I own Tesla stocks but, I will NEVER buy its cars LOL You can call me hypocrite but, I don't care. I'm just waiting for VW or BMW to have more solidified line of EV cars. Then I will buy from them, NEVER from Tesla.
