1. DISCLAIMER: This video is the only one on my channel that some people have found to be clickbait – so I want to take the opportunity of a pinned comment to share the logic behind the title which might make things more clear as to why I have chosen this specific question as the title of this video.

   It is one of the questions I receive THE MOST and it is important to me that people don't choose a career/job because of a salary range they have heard in a source. I specifically wanted to share my opinion on this question, because it is a wrong to question to ask – not to me but anyone in general. I think it’s important to provide the correct information and not what people expect to see – in this case, a numerical salary range. 

   If someone actually gives an answer to this question, i would suggest to consider that the answers are most probably misleading – for ex if i said avg salary is 95k usd  in my video, someone could’ve thought “wow, thats a really good salary, i should consider switching careers”. And it would absolutely be misleading and wrong information to share.

   There are so many factors affecting the salaries and one of the key ones is the city you live in. For a demand generation manager role in Boston I’ve seen USD 95K whereas in Toronto I see salary averages of CAD 75K. On the other hand, in Turkey, 1) you wouldn’t be able to find that role 2) if you did, the avg salary would be maximum CAD 21K if you have around 6 yrs of experience.

   I’m not even talking about the skills and years of experience the person needs to have. That’s also a huge factor. If your skills match the role that you applied for %100 and if your skills are very rare in the market, the company could be willing to raise the salary for your expectation. 

   CONCLUSION: It is misleading to provide salary averages because everyone’s conditions are different. That is why I recommend looking at linkedin and glassdoor because then you can see which job matches your background. I hope this is clearer.

6. You spent half of the video apologizing for not being able to answer questions objectively since the questions were broad and subjective. The reason I would watch a video like yours would be to hear your opinion from your experience. If I wanted to know facts, I wouldn't come to youtube. Not trying to be judgemental here, just food for thought.
