Thanks, a great video! It's definitely possible to make money as an affiliate. To make money, you have to follow the same formula as any successful venture.
You need a solid product that customers want and create a funnel to convert the traffic, to begin with. Then you build up your traffic (free and paid), optimize your funnel, and once you know you’re profitable, you scale the whole thing.

How do you really know who is the big dog in whatever particular space you're in? Is there a website, or something, that shows you this? I could spend 2 weeks learning the in's & out's of some program that I think was the top dog, only to find out it wasn't, or it sucked. There goes 2 weeks. So, you're saying then find the big dog in tooth pain, for example, study that up for a couple weeks til I know it inside & out, 4 weeks later by now. I would much rather market something I'm already familiar with & can speak from experience vs no clue & I have to learn about something from ground zero. But that's just me, and I've never sold an affiliate product in my life, so, here I am somehow.

Hi. Problem? You do not know what the best product is. Because every manufacturer says thier product is the best. But by reviews people can narrow it down a bit. And the #1 product is normally saturated with the big dogs, Internet Marketers that have lots of money and lots of pull in the market. But I hear what your saying, it just doesn't work that well in the real world, because it's a uphill battle. You need to look for the long tail keywords and go deep, that's if you don't have thousands to spend. Period!! Just a thought. Hawk out!!
This is great info, promote what is hot, in demand and position yourself in front of people with value content and you almost can’t lose. This video has caused me to re-evaluate my strategy going forward as a massive light just went off. As far as over saturation, it’s non existent in this arena as most MMO hot programs are evergreen.
